My friend and I have come back from our trip to Japan and it was absolutely amazing. We had such a great time with so many memories we won’t ever forget. I bought so much stuff that after I filled my luggage I had to buy two boxes which I filled up and sent to Australia (they have arrived safe). I did (eventually) get to hand my letter in to Square Enix reception and while I have no proof, from what the lady said I believe the letter will be read by Mr Nomura. Unfortunately I did not meet him but maybe next time I will send another letter and who knows maybe he’ll remember the first letter and I’ll get another chance.

We had no problems with the trains or getting around, it was really easy as you said. The only hiccup was the first day (as you may remember with the rush to universal studios). Believe it or not the plane arrived an hour early but as we got to the terminal we found out that the office that exchanges the JR pass was closed till 7.30. In the end we just paid the extra money to catch a Nozomi and we ended up going to the hotel to drop off our luggage and then to Universal Studios. We did make it to the Harry Potter event and got to do everything we wanted so in the end it was ok. I’ll definitely admit though that first day was very exhausting and I would plan that better next time however I have no regrets as that One Piece show that you helped us get into to was absolutely spectacular. Believe it or not out of all the truly amazing things we saw, for me personally, that One Piece show was my favourite thing of the whole trip (I even teared up at the end) and I will never forget it as long as I live.

I’m sure you get a lot of people saying this but seeing all the anime, manga and games and also how polite and friendly everyone is over there I am inspired to try and learn the language. I did pick up on quite a few phrases and terms over there (which I was happy with) but I want to learn as much as I can. Anyways I just wanted to say a big thank you for helping us make the trip so amazing and all your advice. Again I can’t thank you enough for helping us get into the One Piece live show and even as far as the reception of Square Enix (which in itself is incredible). I really, really, really appreciate all your help and I want to return to Japan within the next 1-2 years and I will definitely seek you out if you are still in the business.

Hi Clement My trip was absolutely FANTASTIC! I would go back any day, Japan was so different to how I remember. The only negative I would have to say is the weather, but being monsoon season I didn’t expect daily sunshine anyway. I dont know if you have many enquiries about Japanese Sports Car hire, but you may want to direct your clients/agents to www.fun2drive.co.jp as it was really fantastic. Its located in Hakone and is a small family run business but their knowledge of the area and the range of cars they have to choose from is unreal. The Kukuna hotel in Kawaguchiko was definitely my highlight of the entire trip so thank you for your recommendation! I wish we had stayed two nights to take full advantage of the area. The sumo tournament in Nagoya was also a great way to end off our trip – I only wish I did some research on the history before we left. Thanks again for all of your help in planning my trip. Hi Hiromi I have just returned from my holidays in Japan and will like to thank you for your help .All went well and had many good meals. Museum Hotel in Naoshima was very nice and the art work in the Island most interesting. My daughter thinks that it would have been closer to go from Fukuoka rather than Osaka.Nevertheless, we had no problems catching 3 trains and a ferry. Ferry only takes 20 mins from the mainland. Swissotel in Osaka is very convenient to take the train to Kansai. The concierge even helps with the luggage to the train and with the purchase of train tickets. Regards Bernie

Our trip was fabulous!! The accommodation – Hotel Monterey in Kyoto was in a great location within easy walking distances of city, Gion areas etc. The room was probably a bit small (but I think they all are!) but clean and comfortable. The day tours were excellent and we certainly learnt a lot of history and saw all the amazing temples. We particularly loved walking around the older parts of Kyoto. Because it was National Holidays so many women and men were wearing traditional clothes which were so beautiful and colourful. The Ryokan Hotel Kikunya on Miyajima was terrific. Highly recommended. We had an ocean view room and loved the Onsen baths. A great experience. And it was very interesting and sad visiting the bomb site and museum in Hiroshima. Miyajima was beautiful and catching the ferry with the JR pass made it very easy.
The JR Pass is a great way to use the trains and we certainly did that!
We also loved our stay in Tokyo and catching up with our friends who live there.
Oh and the weather was perfect – only one day of rain.

So thank you again for all your assistance in making our trip so memorable.

Perfect thank you Christopher, Quick couple of questions; You mentioned if the customer is wanting to keep budget down we could look at staying at a “normal hotel in Hiroshima”. What do you mean by that? I see we have recommended staying at Miyajima seaside hotel Hiroshima which is out on an island in Hiroshima – are there options to stay in Hiroshima on the mainland? Obviously they will not be as nice as the Seaside hotel? Also will there still be snow at the time of year this couple are actually going to Hakuba to ski? I just want to make sure I manage their expectations for the time of year they are travelling. P.S I just want to say you have been absolutely amazing so far – I really hope these clients book and when I get future Japan enquiries you will be my first phone call. Thank you again Christopher. Good morning Clement. Thanks for the message. Everything ran smoothly and the Hotels were great. It was really good to experience two Hotels in Tokyo, but the location of the Shinagawa Prince made getting around a lot easier than it was when we were at the Tokyo Prince. The New Miyako was excellent. The Tours were fine but if we were to do it again we might do walking tours rather than half day tours in Tokyo and Kyoto. Hi Olivia, How are you. We are back after a very good holiday. Everything went according to the plan and there wasn’t any hiccups. Thank you very much for your wonderful service. We have done all the tours and visits as per the plan. Keio Plaza hotel in Shinjuku is excellent. If we were to go to Japan again (very likelihood) we would stay at the same hotel in Tokyo. Unfortunately We cannot say the same thing about Granvia hotel in Kyoto. Granvia in Hiroshima was ok. Just for the information, Airport Limousine bus comes to Narita Terminal 3 where Jetstar lands.
